Advising

Students in Holyoke Works training programs are assigned an education and career advisor.  This person will advise you on matters of education, career planning, and help to ensure you successfully complete the Holyoke Works training. The advisor also provides supportive services to ensure any barrier to successful employment is addressed.

Job Placement

Our instructors and the advisor provide job placement assistance as well as referrals to the local One-Stop Career Center.

Work Readiness

We place an emphasis on the development of soft skills. All students must be personally accountable in maintaining excellent records of attendance and punctuality. The work-readiness curriculum, provided to all students, includes resume preparation, completion of employment applications, job interviewing techniques, and understanding employer expectations.
